SCHEDULE MEETINGS AT AN INDUSTRY EVENT

THE CONCEPT

Got an upcoming conference you're sponsoring or an industry event to attend? Make the most of your face-to-face opportunity by creating a landing page to schedule meetings with attendees.

With this approach, you’ll create a landing page to collect the contact info of those who'd like to schedule a demo or meetup with your company at your booth or after-party. You can distribute the link to your landing page in an email to a segment of your mailing list in advance of the conference with a message like "Headed to Dreamforce? Us too! Schedule a meetup with us."

WHY IT'S GREAT

How many times have you set up your booth, handed out free pens and come home without solid prospects? A landing page for booking meetings is a surefire way to increase your ROI from an event as you’ll schedule one-on-one time wisely. If your first month of Unbounce corresponds with conference season, this is a great choice for your first landing page build.

Check out how Uberflip collected RSVPs for a rooftop party they sponsored at HubSpot’s Inbound.

about how to translate your Photoshop file into Unbounce.

For this kind of landing page it's about brevity and making sure you include all the right info — tell people exactly what they need to know. No more no less. If you're creating an event landing page and inviting the right people, conversion should almost be a no-brainer. But if you omit something essential (like the date, time or location) that's going to affect conversion. It sounds stupidly simple, but can't tell you how many times I see event pages with either missing or unclear information about the event itself!
