Oli, thanks for sharing yet another great infographic! I recently read a book of a similar nature called “How we decide” (http://bit.ly/WhSdIv) and yes, this infpgraphic is so true and backed up by major social psychology experiments. Thanks again for sharing!

It’s good to see the book, “Influence” by Robert B Cialdini out there as an infographic. I read this book during grad school and can’t recommend it enough. Why do we always fall victim to those pesky Girl Scouts when they want to sell us cookies or our co-workers peddling them for their kids. It’s in this book and infographic.

Another great infographic here. Landing page conversion is something that we have been focusing on a lot over the past year and there are some great tools out there to help with it. Crazy Egg has been a personal favourite of mine, but like you have outlined in your article, it is all about understanding the motivations of your target market and evoking an emotional response with the content you are putting in front of them.
